Membership

Welcome to the Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons

We are pleased that you have chosen to apply for membership in the Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (SWSOMS).

Membership in the SWSOMS is open to qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeons practicing in the following states:

Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Affiliated Membership is available to those who reside or practice outside the territorial regions of the society.

*Affiliate members shall have the same privileges as an Active Member except the right to vote or hold office.

Membership Application Process

Upon receipt of your completed application, the information will be forwarded to the Membership Committee for verification of credentials. Following verification, your application will be presented to the general membership for a vote at the next membership meeting, held during the Society’s Annual Meeting in the spring of each year.

The deadline for membership applications is March 25.
