The Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons component states of Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana and Wyoming now encompasses the Midwestern Society of Oral and  Maxillofacial Surgeons component states of Iowa,  Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
