Dear Friends and Colleagues:
Responding to health and safety concerns relating to the COVID-19 virus, the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons has cancelled all plans for the SWSOMS 2020 Combined Annual Meeting, April 16-18, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
SWSOMS President William V. Jordan, III, DDS, announced the Society’s decision and stated, “While we are saddened about the need for this action, our primary concern is the health and well-being of our registrants, exhibitors, presenters and their guests.”
Dr. Jordan praised The Broadmoor and its staff for their cooperation and support throughout the meeting planning and cancellation process. “We hope to bring the SWSOMS Combined Annual Meeting back to The Broadmoor in the near future,” he noted.
The SWSOMS is grateful to everyone who helped with this meeting and looks forward working together on future annual meetings.
IMPORTANT: If you are registered to attend the 2020 combined annual meeting, please note the following registration fee options:
Option #1: Authorize the SWSOMS to transfer your registration fees to the 2021 Combined Annual Meeting, which will be held April 15-17, at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. By selecting this option, you will lock in your registration fee with a guarantee that your cost will NOT increase, even if the SWSOMS decides to increase its fees next year. [Note: This offer relates to the member/non-member/guest registration fee only. It does not cover such optional events as the golf tournament, President’s Event or Companion Program. Any tickets purchased for this year’s optional events will be refunded immediately on the credit card or other payment option used to make the initial reservation.]
Option #2: A full refund of your registration fees will be made on the credit card or other payment option used to make the initial reservation.
Please contact Lisa Aguilar to let us know which option you prefer.
